H I R I N G    P O L I C Y :

Darae’s Salon & Spa hires candidates who have filled out our application and it must have an attached copy of your Alaska state license in it. If your license is not attached, it is considered incomplete and we will not accept it.

If you are a new graduate of a beauty school, Darae’s Salon & Spa may hire you as a “Spa Assistant” for up to six weeks. Those duties are explained during the interview process. Spa assistant positions are temporary and allow a person to continue working while waiting for exams or other paperwork. With the exception of shampooing, there is no “hands on” practice unless you have an Alaska state license or work permit.|

Darae’s Salon & Spa has an on going education system for all Employees. Apprentices and Spa assistants are required to go to continuing education twice a year as provided by Aveda and Darae’s Salon & Spa.
